Dubai Police heralds a new era of policing and a focus on innovations for the future. Alongside it's aim of becoming fully AI-powered by 2031, the mission of being a fully smart police department has already gained a rapid momentum. As a leader in innovative policing and an enabler of international crime prevention, Dubai Police is proud to host the first World Police Summit in 2022, alongside Expo 2020.
The Emirate, known as the “gateway to the world,” has thrived on its East-West links for many centuries and lies at the heart of the Asia, Africa and India triangle. Historically, its geographic location, its secure and state of the art infrastructure has facilitated easy connections, business networking and access to trade.
Dubai ranks first in more than 11 personal safety indicators within varied competitiveness indices to place itself within the top 20 safest cities in the world. These indicators were the Safe Cities Index, where scores look at Personal, Infrastructure, Health and Digital safety.
Dubai utilised its fundamentals on safety and security and set standards for effectively managing the global Covid-19 crisis. The country has sustained its high global ranking in dealing with the crisis, which reflects the distinguished role of the local police and other institutions in prioritizing personal safety.
