Christopher Church
Chris is a leading expert in drones within INTERPOL. With over five years of experience on this topic, Chris has been instrumental in raising global awareness and providing forums and exercises to showcase the good, integrating, understanding and countering the threat and utilizing forensics to investigate incidents using this rapidly evolving technology. He has assisted INTERPOL in publishing the various guidance for member countries and has hosted over seven events regarding drones. He also worked with member countries to host the first drone countermeasure tests held at an international airports that assessed the effectiveness of Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) and provided Red/Blue teaming before the FIFA World Cup to ensure the effective response from law enforcement and relevant authorities for a drone incursion at a mass sporting event. He also leads the INTERPOL contribution to EU funded Project COURAGEOUS that is developing a selection, testing and assessment framework for CUAS
