Estiara Ellizar
Estiara is a passionate advocate for road safety and youth engagement. She has been actively involved in promoting road safety awareness and initiatives in Indonesia since 2016. Estiara currently serves as a Transport Planner at the Transport Policy Agency, Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia. She was awarded as an Agent of Change 2022 by the Ministry of Transportation and named the first youth ever from the organization to receive the award. Prior to join the MoT, she worked with the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety in Bandung City, Indonesia. She has a Master's in Transportation Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology and currently sits as a Youth Leadership Board member at the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety. In 2022, Estiara was invited to speak at the UN High-Level Meeting on Road Safety, representing youth voices to address meaningful youth participation in accelerating the Global Plan on Road Safety. She was also a former Alumni Fellow at the Global Road Safety Leadership Course 2022 - 2023. Recently, she has been awarded by the Minister of Transport, Indonesia as the Best Civil Servant at the Ministry of Transportation 2023 for the category of the Most Talented Youth - The Future Leader."
