Jason Mazeski
Dr. Jason Mazeski is in his 17th year with the New York City Police Department. He has a decade worth of experience training police officers and designing curriculum for the NYPD Counterterrorism Training Unit. He is currently assigned to the Office of Professional Development where he serves as the department expert in public speaking. He is also a lead instructor in soft-skill workshops providing frontline supervisors and executives with soft-skills such as active listening, reputation building, career planning, and emotional intelligence. In his spare time, he is an adjunct assistant professor of public speaking at CityTech College and a Professional Development Design Consultant. He holds a Doctorate of Education in Adult Education and Leadership conferred by Teacher's College, Columbia University. His most recent research includes community policing expectations, training, and police culture reform.
