Yasmeen George
Yasmeen is a Lecturer at Monash Faculty of Information Technology with over a decade of interdisciplinary research experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for healthcare analytics. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne in 2018 (Australia) and Master of Computer Science (by research) in 2013 (Egypt). Her research focuses on the use of AI for automated medical image analysis'across domains of radiology, pathology, dermatology, ophthalmology and forensic medicine.'She worked on various research projects including AI for automated systematic reviews, disease diagnosis and monitoring of disease progression and treatment response.'She has also been involved in various defence and forensic medicine research projects including AI for event detection in social media streams and identification of'deceased people using skull images.'Her research work is recognized through several research publications, 2 patents, invited talks and research grants.
