Dubai, UAE – 13 May 2025: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the fourth edition of the World Police Summit officially opened today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Gathering over 110 police chiefs and 300 expert speakers from more than 110 countries, the summit offers an unmatched platform for the global policing community to exchange knowledge, tackle cross-border threats, and preview the future of law enforcement.

This year introduces several new features, most notably the Demo Hub — an immersive space showcasing live demonstrations of next-generation policing tools, from real-time surveillance systems to unmanned response technologies and AI-driven analytics. The hub enables visiting delegations to experience emerging technologies in action, with scenarios that simulate real-world interventions.

Also debuting are the Startup Arena, spotlighting early-stage innovators reshaping the security landscape, and the Academic Zone, which bridges research and practice by showcasing the latest breakthroughs from universities and security think tanks around the world.

A central highlight of the event is the accompanying exhibition, hosting more than 200 companies unveiling cutting-edge innovations in security, mobility, and digital policing. Samsung, returning as Platinum Sponsor, is showcasing its latest secure mobility solutions and smart policing technologies. Meanwhile, Inkas Armored Vehicles and Aksum Marine are exhibiting advanced armored and maritime security platforms, underscoring the Summit’s role in connecting suppliers and decision-makers at the forefront of public safety.

Organised by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE, and held under the theme “Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing”, the summit continues until 15 May. It includes 12 focused tracks covering everything from AI in policing and cybercrime to border security and anti-narcotics strategy.

With support from global law enforcement bodies including the FBI, Europol, UNODC, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Summit reinforces Dubai’s position as a convener of international cooperation and a hub for security innovation.
