National Contact for Traffic, President of ROADPOL
Hungarian National Traffic Police
Elvira Zsinkaiworks in the Hungarian, National Traffic Police Department, in the professional management of regional police services, and is the national contact point for traffic and responsible for national accident prevention.
Zsinkaijoined the police in 1998, starting her career in the public order field as a police patrol and later, graduating as a traffic safety specialist. During her career Zsinkaiworked mainly on traffic safety and VIP escorting. As a commander of duty and a traffic accident investigator she also worked heavily with fatalities and traffic crimes.
In 2016, Zsinkaibegan with TISPOL (predecessor of ROADPOL) as a member of the Operational Working Group. She was elected as Executive Committee member in 2019 and was elected President of ROADPOL at the network’s Autumn Annual meeting in September 2022 in Madrid, Spain.
